Dr Jens Rohrbeck (DRCOG, M Phil) is a member of the BSEM (British Society for Ecological Medicine). He works as a GP in Bristol and as a Private Practitioner in Environmental and Nutritional Medicine at Helios Medical Centre in Bristol and Cheddar Medical Centre in Somerset.

Environmental Medicine focuses on disease prevention and health improvement by nutritional and lifestyle interventions, using functional tests to assess the factors which affect our health, including the air we breath and the food we eat. It deals with allergies to pollens, moulds, chemicals, toxins and foods and addresses nutritional deficiencies.
Many common conditions such as asthma, eczema, hay fever and rhinitis have an allergic basis. But also other conditions including migraine, irritable bowel syndrome, colitis, arthritis and psychological disorders have an environmental basis.

A full new patient consultation is for 1 - 1.5 hours and costs £110. A shorter initial consultation 45 mins costs £80,  including post-consultation correspondence.
Follow-up consultations are £90 (60 minutes), £45 (30 mins) and £30 (20 mins telephone consultation)
Appointments are available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays
A cancellation charge of 50% consultation fee will be made for any unattended appointments and appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice (except in exceptional circumstances)
